World’s first. One room. One inventor. Everything below may be quoted freely — for interviews, visits and imagery, one email away.
aThe short version
In Christianshavn, Copenhagen, there is a room where sound is something you lie down in. Vibro Yoga — invented by Shahab “Shamir” Mirsadri, founder of Hot Yoga Copenhagen — combines low-frequency vibroacoustic therapy with yoga practice on a purpose-built floor of transducers and amplifiers, wrapped in a Dolby Atmos sound field. Twelve guests per session lie down or move slowly while original compositions play through their bodies. It is the world’s first studio built around yoga practice on a purpose-built vibroacoustic floor — and it has been running, with paying guests, for two years.
“People walk out horizontal on the inside. That’s the product.”
